I am a senior in Electrical Engineering focusing in RF design. I have had an internship at Texas Instruments working as a test engineer and will be working at Garmin as a design engineer in the summer of 2020. My work on PrISUm Solar Car has primarily focused in battery pack power systems. This year I have been designing the battery protection hardware. For this project I am the Lead Designer focusing in the hardware design and architecture.
Ben Kenkel - Meeting Facilitator

My name is Ben Kenkel, I am a senior in Computer Engineering. I have had an internship at Workiva on the Test Engineering team, which manages all of the automated unit testing done by the company. I also had a Co-Op at Altec Industries on the Core Controls team. At Altec, I created tools that made it easier to get developed code from completed firmware unto hardware that would go on the trucks that Altec makes. I am also the Assistant Electrical Director for PrISUm Solar Car, and serve to help organize the car at a systems level.

I am a senior in Software Engineering with a main focus in embedded design. I worked at Altec Inc. for a co-op working on python applications as well as embedded linux targets. I also worked with AWS databases and IOT to stroe large amounts of data. I am also on the Iowa State Solar Car club and work on the battery protection system which is an embbeded C target, as well as the telemetry system which uses embedded linux target, AWS, and python Flask.
Bryan Kalkoff - Report Manager

Hi I’m Bryan Kalkhoff! I am a senior computer engineering major focusing on VLSI/Computer Architecture. I have had a co-op with Collins Aerospace and several projects with PrISUm. For the team, I will be the report manager for the team. Along with being the report manager, I will be mostly be helping out with hardware design for our project and making system integration.
Connor Luedtke - Safety Manager

I am a senior in electrical engineering with a focus in power systems. I have internships working as a controls intern with Marshalltown company and currently a process controls intern with Apc Lauridson. Outside of class I work on a lot automotive controls projects.
